** Personal 'First'
That was quite a spectacular tropospheric opening, mainly in its diversity rather than its signal strength as not much of this was above weak levels. Furthermore, this was the first time I have received simultaneous tropo from Sweden and the Czech Republic!
It was a very busy spell of DX too with a lot happening, so I decided to prioritise the tropo over the MS, but there didn't seem to be a lot of MS activity when I eventually checked. I suspect the tropo was strong enough to mask any MS activity. A lot of the tropo had RDS too, though I may not have logged it all as some of the stations were logged before they were strong enough to produce RDS.
There were also a good few personal 'firsts'. As I am sure you might have spotted, I am a compulsive 'collector' and 'list checker' and I like to keep a tab on details like this. Another personal milestone was realised yesterday too when I added MS DX stations to my log on two more frequencies - 95.6 and 95.7, bringing the number of frequencies on which I have positively identified DX via meteor scatter to 200! Just another six frequencies to go, and I know a couple of these at least are going to be virtually impossible to extract much due to a combination of strong local signal strength and more limited DX possibilities.
