** Personal Skegness 'First'
I had just switched on the GTK software, which automatically starts the
XDR on 87.5. Completely oblivious to what was happening, I heard a song
and then a man say "Malvisi ... ", presumably "Malvisi Network". Then it
was gone. I quickly realised that this was a meteor burst, but it was
stable and sustained for several seconds. This one was lucky, but I have
noticed meteor scatter becoming increasingly regular and stronger over
the last week.
General scatter was average again. Still very little tropo around, only a
weak lift to some of the regular continental transmitters during the
evening.
Good DX!
