All tropo was inland during the morning. Continental reception was
subdued, even though the tropo forecast suggested the opposite. I think
the tropo forecast has been downgraded. Even Lille was struggling first
thing
I swung the FM5 round to the SW where it had to rest on those poplar
trees. The West Midlands was well up in strength with Sutton Coldfield
reaching 56dB. Hearing the DX rolling in from inland reminded me not
only of how congested the band is there, but how wide and messy a lot of
the transmissions are.
Good DX!
