Some excellent aircraft scatter again today. This is the first time I
have ever received Schwerin and Kreuzberg via this mode here in
Skegness. Signals were fluttery and not exactly weak either, but almost
noise free when at their best. These used to be regulars on the Suffolk
coast.
Brocken and Torfhaus have also been well received and have been reaching
noise-free or near-noise-free levels all day on 89.0, 92.1, 94.6, 98.0,
101.4, etc. Again, signals were fluttery, indicating aircraft scatter
as opposed to stable tropo conditions.
Good DX!
