At last, I think the Geminids are making inroads. MS bursts are more frequent and slightly stronger and occasionally they are lasting up to a minute.
Another Belmont frequency bites the dust as the Czech Republic squashes 93.1 flat! Although, to be fair, BBC R4 was very weak and noisy after being mostly phased out with the HS Publications Antenna Phaser and a Triax FM3 as the "deaf" antenna deliberately situated in a spot on the garden just one metre above the ground.
I am wondering if the "Hitradio" ID I recorded on 100.2 is Hitradio O3 from Sankt Katharein in Austria. The ID is incomplete and mentions little more than "Hitradio", so I was hoping a German speaker may recognise the jingle or perhaps the accent. As I understand it, Austrian German sounds quite different to the language spoken in Germany. I don't think there is a station in Germany carrying the "Hitradio" slogan on 100.2, though I could be wrong, and I am not aware of any station in Switzerland which does. So, if this *is* Hitradio O3 from Sankt Katharein, the transmitter power is only 10 watts.
I strongly suspect that the Radio Maria heard on 92.5 is from the Lesignano de' Bagni transmitter in the province of Parma. Only two stations were received on this meteor burst, the other being a pop station on 91.2, where Radio 101, also from Lesignano de' Bagni just happens to reside. But there was no RDS on 91.2 so 92.5 will have to be credited to the familiar "multi-tx".
Good DX!
