** Personal 'First'

As yesterday morning, I beamed to the east and with the 9.2 horizontal. Meteor scatter was even more plentiful. Maybe this is because there is a meteor shower peak today. According to meteorshowersonline.com, March 16th sees the peak of the Gamma Normids, a 'minor' meteor shower. This one is listed as being 'visible' only in the southern hemisphere, but I wonder if there are some stray meteors from this getting into our skies. Who can say?, but things have definitely improved over the last couple of days. Has anybody else noticed this?

There was also quite a sharp contrast between signal strengths at the top of the band and the bottom. There were equally as many meteor bursts throughout the band, but those at the top of the band were much weaker. The log shows this.

Good DX!
