** Personal Skegness 'First'
It's been another of those "Pinch me - did that really just happen?"
days. I was lucky to catch some superb ducting to the Czech
republic, Austria and Poland - a first timer here. What the
reception lacked in signal strength was more than made up for by the
reception distances. CRo Ostrava from Valasské Mezirící on 99.0
became the second furthest band 2 tropo catch I have had since
living in Skegness.
Videos are available at: https://www.youtube.com/user/g1vvp As I
mentioned yesterday, YouTube may have blocked some of the audio from
these videos due to their 'copyright claims' policies. I can
re-upload elsewhere if necessary.
I was just too late to catch a nice ID from CRo Ostrava on 99.0,
hitting the record button too late, but there is plenty of audio in
that video. Hopefully everything is clear enough. Ii included web
audio with the weaker signals. PR3 from Wroclaw on 100.2 had a
painfully weak signal. If you can hear this against the recording of
the web stream then you'll have no problems with any of the other
recordings.
Good DX!
