The best North American conditions so far this season!
Virtually all the activity was above 1100 kHz. The X band was alive with many stations, most of which got away, but all of the frequencies 1620 - 1700 had very weak DX.
Good DX!

And today morning was also productive. Again, many freqs above 1Mhz were busy, 1570 R.Bethel was storming in! No other IDs here though. If I only woke earlier... Think I'm gonna set my buzzer earlier today - the band seems to be back alive.
ReplyDeleteI got delivered Mini-Whip antenna and plan to set it up on Friday, I wonder how this one performs...
Cheers
Hello Maciek. I am pleased you are finding the band alive. It's not alive here. Quite the opposite. I am on the wrong coast for the Americas. The band needs more time to recover.
ReplyDeleteThe only frequency of interest here since the 23rd is 1580. Two South American stations have been heard. No identifications though. Their signals were very weak.
Hopefully I may try Asia again tomorrow afternoon. Too busy here lately to do much DXing at all.
Best DX! :O)
