The Es season really feels like it's winding down now. Signals on the above band 2 loggings were mostly well below RDS levels.
I had my first meteor scatter on the OIORT band. All previous attemps to
hear MS on this band have failed whenver I have tired in the past. On
this occasion I wasn't actually looking for it. I had been checking for
Es and left the XDR on 72.32 for no reason, when a burst appeared which
was clearly playing the same music as the Belarus' first programme web
stream. There were no other contenders within range either so the
Geranyony transmitter was the only option anyway.
