** Personal Skegness 'First'
Meteor scatter was less prevalent overnight, but I was pleased to
receive a 960 watt Austrian in the form of 88.6 Der Musiksender from
Wiener Neustadt.
I raised the FM5 another metre today so it now clears the rooftop and
can see over the conifers. This has made an enormous difference. The
noise from the computer is much quieter too, plus I can hear some old
favourites which I haven't heard for a long time. The usual German
transmitters, such as Langenberg, Teutoburger Wald and Munster were
aomost at RDS level. Great to hear Brocken and Torfhaus back together
again.
Good DX!
