** Personal Skegness 'First';
I did not start listening to the band properly until 0930 this morning so I probably missed some DX from earlier. I was able to make a quick check of conditions at 0400 and the band sounded very lively indeed. The final stages of the tropo had vacated the band by 1700. Belgium and Holland were the last to wave goodbye.
I logged everything which wasn't a regular continental yesterday and Tuesday. Today I just 'topped up' the log with any different DX stations.
As yesterday, conditions were strange. It was only the larger horizontal transmitters which were propagating, and there some big signals from Profondeville, Liege, Steinkimmen, Holstebro, Lyngdal and other transmitters. Going vertical you would never have guessed there was much of a tropo at all.
At the time of compiling this log I hear a small enhancement in conditions to continental regulars, but there are no traces of Scandinavia or northern Germany.
